Investment & Insurance at Sanara Medicine
Why Sanara Medicine Is Not an Insurance-Based Practice
Most insurance-based medical visits last 12 to 15 minutes. That is enough time to prescribe a medication. It is not enough time to investigate why you need one.
Sanara Medicine physicians invest the time necessary to understand your complete hormonal and metabolic picture. Initial consultations include extensive lab panels, detailed medical history review, and collaborative treatment planning. Follow-up appointments provide genuine monitoring — not a quick check and refill.
This model limits the number of patients Sanara Medicine accepts. Limited enrollment is intentional. It ensures every patient receives the depth of care that drove Dr. Ruby Gill and Dr. Sahil Rao to build this practice.
Your Investment in Comprehensive Care
Sanara Medicine does not accept insurance for office visits. This is not a limitation — it is what makes unhurried, physician-led integrative medicine possible.
Your investment covers comprehensive appointments that include time with your physician, lab interpretation, treatment planning, and ongoing protocol adjustments. The consultation fee reflects the duration and depth of each visit, not a billing code.
HSA (Health Savings Account) payments are accepted. Credit and debit cards are also welcome.
Sanara Medicine maintains clear cancellation and rescheduling expectations. Contact the office at (209) 322-8802 for specific investment details and scheduling policies.
What Insurance Does Cover
While Sanara Medicine does not bill insurance for office visits, your existing insurance may cover related costs outside the practice.
Prescriptions
Hormone prescriptions, GLP-1 medications, and other pharmaceuticals prescribed by Sanara Medicine physicians can be filled through your pharmacy and billed to your insurance plan as they would with any physician prescription.
Certain Imaging Studies
Sanara Medicine uses a cash pay model for biomarker lab work. However, certain imaging studies can be covered by insurance when appropriate.
What Insurance Does Not Cover
Office visits, consultation fees, and in-office procedures at Sanara Medicine are not billed to insurance. Regenerative medicine treatments, pellet therapy procedures, and aesthetic services are also out-of-pocket.
